Paithani is woven on a traditional wooden handloom. It is hand crafted by using the weaving for the pallu and border. The raw materials used are mulberry silk, golden, silver and tested zari. Also used as accessories for butta & border are dobby and jacquard. It takes a minimum of 4 days to a year to weave one original handloom Yeola Paithani saree.
